The Project Management Institute - College of Performance Management (CPM) (www.pmi-cpm.org) is proud to present the ninth Australian International Performance Management Symposium for the Asia Pacific Area. CPM is a non-profit organisation. Our mission is to be the internationally recognized forum for integrated performance management (IPM) standards, research, and education, and to promote the exchange of IPM theory, development, and application with project management professionals. CPM2006 will be the ninth performance management symposium conducted n Australia. The symposium is an important part of CPM's global vision with companion CPM Symposia in the USA (Nov 05) and Japan (Oct 05) and related Symposia in the UK (May 05), Canada (Sep 05), and Sweden (Nov 05). These symposia embraces a wide range of disciplines directed at the management and control of projects and enterprises. Past symposiums have concentrated on the mechanics of performance management. At CPM2006, we will address the important topic of Corporate Governance and what assurance processes and performance management systems are integral to management success. I encourage you to be an active participant at Australia’s premier performance management event.
